DRAGON & TIGER QIGONG - SUNDAY SERIES
Some of the workshops that we teach have a prerequisite that you must already know the basic movements of Dragon & Tiger qigong.
To satisfy this prerequisite you may:
Study with an Instructor
We recommend that if possible you study with a Dragon & Tiger instructor certified by our teacher Bruce Frantzis through his company, Energy Arts.
To find out if there is an instructor near you, click here to go the Energy Arts instructor directory. We especially recommend that you find out whether any of the Senior Instructors will be teaching an event near you.
Of course, if you live near our school in Northampton, MA or near a location where we offer events, you may be able to learn the set from one of our instructors or an instructor at that location. For example, Brookline Tai Chi often offers classes in Dragon & Tiger qigong.

Learn on Your Own
While it is best to learn from an instructor, you can learn the Dragon & Tiger movements on your own by using the Dragon & Tiger DVD and/or book and/or chart created by Bruce Frantzis and sold by Energy Arts.
For more information about Dragon & Tiger and these excellent products or to purchase one or both of them, click here. Scroll down a bit to find the Dragon & Tiger product information. Your best deal is to buy the Book, DVD & Poster package.
You may also buy the book through many booksellers, such as Amazon.
Self study can work because unlike many qigong sets, you don't have to know the Dragon & Tiger movements well in order to begin to gain benefits. In fact, you can do the movements very poorly and still gain more energy and flexibility. Just be careful to never strain or over-exert yourself as you are learning.
Once you know the movements, you can seek out an instructor who can help you refine what you know. |
